Ebony Bott joins Patch Theatre as Executive Producer

Patch Theatre Company is very excited  to announce the appointment of Ebony Bott as our new Executive Producer.

Having spent the last fifteen years working in the performing arts sector in Australia and New Zealand and working across a variety of positions including producing, marketing and development, Ebony is passionate about the role art and culture plays in the lives of young people, their families and our wider community.

Ebony's  most recent role has been as Creative Producer of Families and Young People at Arts Centre Melbourne. Other company credits include: Arena Theatre Company, Back to Back Theatre, Circus Oz, Carriageworks, the Australian Festival for Young People (Come Out), Lowdown Magazine Online, Yana Alana & Tha Paranas, and Capital E, the home of New Zealand’s National Theatre for Children and National Arts Festival in Wellington. 

Patch Theatre can't wait to have Ebony on board, bringing her extensive skill set as we move towards a new website, refresh of our brand, two brand new shows, giving circles and a myriad of yet to be announce new projects - exciting times!

Artistic Director Naomi Edwards said, "Ebony brings to the role a passion and respect for theatre for young audiences and an integrity in her work that aligns so closely with the heart and values of Patch Theatre. I look forward to welcoming her to the company and stepping into the future together."

Patch Theatre awarded National Touring Status funding. 

Proudly receiving the grant for the second consecutive time, National Touring Status funding guarantees Patch Theatre's national tours for the years 2018 – 2020. It allows us to tour our productions to children across Australia with vision and confidence, and to build stronger and deeper connections with regional and metropolitan Australian communities through our theatre making and presenting. 

Yo Diddle Diddle

Introducing Yo Diddle Diddle! Inspired by Tony Wilson's best selling book The Cow Tripped Over the Moon, Yo Diddle Diddle is the hilarious and heartwarming story of one cow and her determination to jump the moon. Featuring a stellar cast and live DJ, this show takes the rhyme and rhythm of Wilson's picture book and transforms it into a hip hop-infused production perfect for everyone aged 4 - 8 (and their big people!)
