Helping new Patch works come to light

Every story begins with a glimmer.

A glimmer is the first movement of light in darkness. At Patch, every new work begins this way — fragile, luminous, full of possibility.

It begins with an idea. A moment of curiosity. A spark of imagination. A glimmer of something new.

The Glimmer Society is an intimate circle of supporters who invest in the earliest stages of creating bold, ambitious new theatre for children.

Through an annual contribution of $888 or $88 per month, members support the research, experimentation and early development that bring new Patch works to life.

Why it matters

Patch Theatre is internationally recognised for creating visually rich, imaginative performances for children.

But before a new work reaches the stage, it requires time, experimentation and creative exploration.

The Glimmer Society ensures that space for imagination exists.

Your support helps:

  • explore new artistic ideas

  • develop innovative theatrical techniques and experiences

  • collaborate with artists and creative teams

  • bring future Patch productions to life
