The Lighthouse at SIFA 2026

June 9th, 2026

Patch Theatre headed to sunny Singapore to present The Lighthouse as part of SIFA 2026.

From 15–24 May, The Lighthouse transformed The Arts House, Old Parliament as part of the Singapore International Festival of Arts 2026 — and the response was everything we could have hoped for!

Over 8 days, our team delivered 103 performances to 2,991 attendees, welcoming families and children into a world of light, wonder and discovery. Presented across a series of interconnected rooms, the promenade experience guided audiences through hands-on encounters with reflection, colour, shadow and sound.

We welcomed schools, families and even the company of Hamlet from Teatro La Plaza (Peru) during our time in Singapore, and every audience and visitor brought a new and unique experience to our company.

A special mention must go to our Stage Manager Katya, who stepped into the role of Moth for the final performance — a moment to step out of the wings and beautifully captured Patch team spirit.

We are so proud of the incredible cast and crew who brought the show to life. Performers Zoë Barry and Vincent Crawley were joined by Singapore locals Cheryl Charli, Vanessa Toh and Chew Shaw En along with our crew Katya Shevtsov and Max Mackenzie — a dream team if ever we saw one!

A special thanks goes to Create SA for their generous support which made this tour possible.

And of course, enormous thanks to the team at SIFA and The Arts House for having us. The Lighthouse continues to find new audiences and new places around the world to shine.
