Patch at DreamBIG 2025

May 15th, 2025

This May, we were delighted to be part of the 2025 DreamBIG Children’s Festival, celebrating 50 magical years of inspiring young minds through the arts.

To start the festival, Edgell and Nia performed Glow & Tell. Over 3 days, they performed to over 500 students in IoED category 1-4 students, almost 250 of which were from category 1 schools.

As part of DreamBIG’s commitment to access, Edgell and Nia also headed off on a subsidised regional tour to Port Pirie, Whyalla and Port Augusta, sharing Glow & Tell with children and communities beyond the city.

On Family Weekend, Once Upon a Jar popped up in the Lucky Dip Tent, inviting children and their families to peek inside a world of curiosity and creation.

Inside the Festival Centre, there was an exhibition in the gallery celebrating DreamBIG's birthday. Patch was featured among the exhibit, showcasing our collaboration with the festival over the last 50 years.

We also proudly took part in Behind the Curtain Day at Her Majesty's Theatre. Artistic Director Geoff Cobham, Lighting Technician Alex Hatchard, Performer and Technician Ayden Martin and Creative Producer Sasha Zahra shared their creative journeys with high school students through panels and hands-on workshops, shining a light on the many exciting career pathways in the arts.

We’re so grateful to DreamBIG for their vision, heart and commitment to young audiences. Here’s to the next 50 years of dreaming big together!
