Meet Education Program Manager Jaecinta

May 15th, 2025

We spoke to Jaecinta Peddie about her role as Education Program Manager, her career highlights and life outside of Patch.

What do you do at Patch?

I am responsible for school engagement which means I’m often juggling school bookings, regional tours, marketing, reports, education resources… and then some! I love designing systems and connecting with teachers, but my favourite days are when I am seeing children enjoy Patch’s work!

What’s a standout moment in your career?

So many! One that will always stay with me is coordinating a 250-person cast for a political theatre production at the Edinburgh Festival Theatre during the G8 Summit. It was a crash course in logistics and diplomacy - working with anti-capitalist activists by day and poring over complex schedules beneath a chandelier by night. It taught me that even the most chaotic moments can be transformed with a good process... and a bit of humour.

I'm also incredibly proud of my time as Business Operations Manager at Denki, a game development studio where order and creativity coexisted beautifully!

What do you do when you’re not working?

I’m a busy mum, so life is rarely still!  I love to spend time in nature, take photos, listen to music, play board games and travel (with a spirit of intentional serendipity!)

What’s something you believe in strongly?

Every child deserves to be seen, heard and celebrated for who they are.
