Spark: Glow & Tell in 2025

January 19th, 2026

Little show, big numbers

Patch Theatre had an amazing year presenting our SPARK show Glow & Tell. Our SPARK incursions increased by 62% on 2024, and we performed 310 sessions to over 6,600 students in 2025.

We welcomed performer Ayden Martin to the team who devised and premiered his tale of family, footy and the timeless power of stories passed down through generations.

Seasoned performers Edgell Junior Edgell and Evyenia Stefanidis hit significant milestones performing to 7,940 and 7,295 students respectively, meaning they have performed their stories over 330 times each since the show started visiting schools in 2023!!

"We often have to travel to other towns or places to be able to experience performances like this and it was fantastic that it was able to come to us... Feeling very grateful."

"There was lots of cultural sharing between the performer and our students which they very much enjoyed as they are from diverse backgrounds."

"The children loved the whole experience, and the fact that we got our own pen and special board to use back at kindy was amazing — they love it so much!"

DreamBIG Children's Festival

Patch was proud to be part of the 2025 DreamBIG Children’s Festival, celebrating 50 years of inspiring young audiences. Across three days at the Adelaide Festival Centre, Glow & Tell performances reached over 500 students, including almost 250 from IoED Category 1 schools.

As part of Patch and DreamBIG’s commitment to access, the work also toured to Port Pirie, Whyalla and Port Augusta, extending our reach to over 1,140 students in regional communities.

Patch remains committed to making our performances highly accessible and interactive so that every child, regardless of background, location or ability, can engage with our work. Of the schools we visited, 36% were from remote or regional areas.

Throughout the year, we delivered 80 complimentary sessions to 1,623 students across the Riverland, Whyalla and Port Augusta.
