Meet Producer Erin

November 3rd, 2026

We spoke to one of Patch's newest staff members, Producer Erin Fowler, about her role at Patch, her career highlights and what she's looking forward to in 2027.

Tell us about your role at Patch.

I’m thrilled to be joining the Patch team as a Producer. My role includes many different areas from tour logistics and schedules, to contracting artists, to keeping track of budgets and corresponding with to the many people, venues and festivals that want to experience the magic of Patch.

What’s the best performance you’ve ever seen?

My background is as a contemporary dancer, and I have absolutely loved Tao Dance Theatre since I saw their works Weight x 3 and 2 in 2012! I’m excited to see they have been programmed in the 2027 Adelaide Festival!

More recently, my partner Will and I, who are both film score obsessed, went to see Hans Zimmer Live at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre and were blown away by how many of the original film score vocalists were part of the show including Lebo M from the iconic opening to The Lion King!

Tell us about your career highlights.

Performing at WOMAD in 2014 was a huge career highlight. My sister Tess and I had a band called Sitara and it was a dream come true to be offered a spot on the Friday night Moreton Bay stage.

Taking my show EGG to the Edinburgh Fringe in 2022 with Will, who is also my production manager and sound designer. In the show I talk about my love for Scotland and Ireland and attempt Irish dancing in a giant EGG costume.

Starting and running The Mill Adelaide from 2012-2018, with Amber Cronin, before we had any real idea how big it was going to become, running purely off inspiration, our endless mid-twenties energy and sponsor wine!

If you had to live in the fictional world of a show, movie, or book for a month, which one would you choose and why?

I’m shamelessly Outlander obsessed so, while it would probably be a dangerous time to go back to, I couldn’t help wanting to spend quiet day there, out on the moors!

What are you excited for in 2027?

I’m really excited to be working on Patch’s new work in development that will be premiering next year. It’s such a gorgeous collaboration of so many incredible artists and inviting young audiences to gather and create a story together. Given I’ve only just started at Patch it will be exciting to see a work develop all the way to premiere.
