It's a String Thing

Absurd, abstract and wildly imaginative stories.

Our performer arrives with a box from which an ever-evolving string of different textures emerges - soft, bumpy, squishy, stretchy, surprising. The string becomes a playful guide weaving absurd, abstract and wildly imaginative stories that children help bring to life.

Performed for one class at a time, the show offers an intimate, immersive experience where every child is free to engage in their own way. A companion picture book, inspired by the performance, remains in the classroom alongside practical resource ideas that invite ongoing imagination, exploration and creative play.
